● Showmanship points will be accumulated per individual species
● In the event that a shows age divisions differ we will do our best to adjust points. (points will likely pull from classes in this event)
●A showman may use someone else’s animal for showmanship to accumulate points.
V. Points System:
Showman App will accumulate points throughout the show season as follows:
-
The number of shows that will count towards overall points will be one more than half the number of shows for the series.
-
In the event of an odd number, we will round to the greater whole number. For example, if there are 14 shows, 8 will count towards overall points. If there are 15 shows, 8 will count towards overall points.
-
If a member signs up after the 3rd weekend they will only receive points for after they signed up. For example if you sign up for the ECLA at the 4th show points for the first 3 weekends WILL NOT count.
-
Points will be affiliated to the showman, not the animal.
-
Once an animal is shown by one exhibitor, it may not be shown for point’s accumulation by another.
-
Points for overall exhibitor will only be counted for your highest points achieving individual per species for each show. For example if you show more than 1 hog, the hogs that count towards your points, may very well change at each show.
